Life in Transit

Most Yangonites commute 4 hour per day.If we believe the statistics,we live until 70-years-old on average in these parts. That mean that will spend nearly 12 years in the public transport.Long live the YBS.(Yangon Bus System)

“Population increase is not a problem. The problem is that an increasing number of children do not get access to the food, nutrition, and education that they deserve,”

Family live on Shipwrecked

Across the Yangon River, in Dala, five men work around the clock.

From dawn to dusk, every day of the week and for about $6 a day, they hammer, tear up and pull to pieces old boats to resell their parts. There are two families live in this Shipwrecked.Their work is tough and hardship.Wooden hulls become chairs, tables or firewood. Motors, if they are good enough, will propel other vessels.

In Nature, nothing is lost. Except perhaps the health of these brave workers.
